Stewart (photo right) and Heather Glynes of The Bench Market in Penticton have become the latest Founder Level supporters of Peach City Radio. PCR Vice President Craig Henderson was pleased to accept the donation for community radio on behalf of the Society. In return Peach City Radio will provide numerous benefits to the Bench as a Founder. The donation puts the campaign at just over 10% of target funds reached.

The Raise the Radio campaign has a goal of raising $30,000 to be spent on capital costs related to construction and outfitting of a broadcast studio within the new Valley First Community Arts Centre. The campaign began shortly after the Society submitted an application to the CRTC for a broadcast licence. The duration of this campaign will be the only opportunity for forward thinking and community supporting businesses to achieve the designation of FOUNDERS of community radio in Penticton.
