Community radio is all about community partnerships. Recently - a connection was made between Peach City Radio and the Agur Lake Camp Society - thanks to a keen volunteer for both organizations, Katie Bowling. Over the past few weeks, interested folks from the Agur Lake Camp Society have been learning about us and vice versa! Keith Dixon, the camp society's webmaster, attended our most recent Radio 101 session, and several of their volunteers have begun talks on how to move forward using radio as a medium to share their issues and news.

PCR volunteer Jackie Del Rizzo travelled out to the site of the wheelchair accessible and family-focused camp outside Summerland in July and met many of the people who are making this facility what it is. Visit the camp website for more information - and a story about Jackie's visit.
