For 3 nights only, Peach City Radio will present an old-style radio show onstage at the Shatford Centre in Penticton. The Big Broadcast of 2014 will take place at 7 pm on Friday February 28 and Saturday March 1st, with a Sunday matinee - March 2nd at 2 pm. This unique and live performance of a vintage radio show will include musical guests, local historic vignettes and an old fashioned radio melodrama. Come be a part of the live audience! This show pays tribute to Penticton history and will be recorded for a radio show on Peach City Radio in the near future.

Our 2014 show will feature musical talent and a few entertaining vignettes in the first half. The second half is a melodrama play. 'Moonshine Over Manitou: Temperance Tantrum in a Troubled Town.' The play is in old-fashioned melodrama style, where audience members are encouraged and expected to 'boo' the villain and 'cheer' the hero and heroine. The proceeds of our Big Broadcast 2014 will support the Peach City Community Radio Society.
