On August 15th and 16th, 2017 The second annual Untempered Festival of Dissonant Arts (UFDA) will be happening in Naramata BC.

Established by musicians Stanley Zappa and Andrew Wedman in 2016, the festival explores experimental music through free jazz improv, experimental noise rock, and other worldly micro-tonal dream scapes under the stars.

This year UFDA will highlight the adventurous percussionist and electronic musician Matt Weston (Albany NY), the weird and wonderful Xapchyk (Portland OR) featuring Kyle Stant and Jerry Soga on various odd instruments, the pulsing rock noise of Christians (Prince George), the MANZAP duo with Zappa on reeds and Wedman on Bass Piano and more.
