Peach City Radio is putting on a rock show! Take a break from the every day and come out on a school night to see Lethbridge's very own A.Trozzo & The Electric Few perform on the Elite Restaurant stage, as they make their first ever stop in Penticton on their 'We Are As Sick As We Are Secret' tour. They will be supported by Yarrows.
Describing themselves as a rotating cast/collective of Lethbridge dinguses, A.Trozzo & The Electric Few have been a thing since October 2016. A few of their past projects include: Jesse and The Dandelions, Michael Rault, Renny Wilson Punk Explosion, and Lustre Creame.
Their style combines a loud, trashy, melodic rock aesthetic with garage-punk roots. The music seems to arise naturally from the depths of A.Trozzo's subconscious. Their live show is driven by 1000 ghosts of rock & roll, their gear is old and musty and loud as hell. They've been known to perform as a four, three, and two piece without hesitation. Regardless of what form you find them in, A) it's likely to be loud B) relatively entertaining C) affordable.
If you don't want to take our word for it, here's what Calgary's Sled Island festival had to say:
"If The Muppet Show had been set in grunge-era Seattle, this might have been the house band to replace Dr. Teeth. Fuzzy, bouncy and chaotic, Trozzo & Co's concise rock songs showcase the bright side of pent-up aggression." - Sled Island
Make sure to come early and take in local band Yarrows. Yarrows is a duo based out of Summerland, resulting from the improbable encounter of Mathieu Drolet (Karate Kids) and Stephanie Lines (Great Lonely West); yarrows plays a delicate and nocturnal alt-country/folk. The band's first EP will be released in June 2017, followed by selected touring dates across B.C.
Admission is 'pay what you can' at the door.
