Peach City Radio and the Okanagan Vinyl Fest are announcing a call to local artists who would like to create artwork using vinyl records. We've got the vinyl - we just need the artists!

Peach City Radio has an abundant stock of used vinyl records, and a desire to see them repurposed. Artists are asked to submit a design proposal (download the form) detailing concepts for up to 8 pieces of vinyl art. Those with successful proposals will be provided with albums and sleeves to use as materials. Completed works will be included in a 3-week exhibit throughout Penticton, culminating in a display at the 2nd Annual Okanagan Vinyl Festival - a new and used record sale at the Shatford Centre on September 22, 2013. Pieces will then be included in a vinyl art auction benefitting both the artist and the Peach City Community Radio Society.
