Thank you to everyone who was able to make it out to the Peach City Radio Volunteer Fair & Social last week at the Cannery Trade Centre! We were excited to see so many new faces there as well as lots of familiar ones. The tours of our studio space, currently under construction, were quite popular!

We also had four areas set up to let people know about the different volunteer opportunities at Peach City Radio. These four broad areas were:

• Support - Friends Card, Fundraising, Fundrive, Grant Writing
• Outreach - Market Tables, Special Events, Community Outreach
• Programming - Music Intake, Production, Programs, Airtime Operators
• Technical - Computer Systems, Computer Programming, Audio Systems, Antenna/Broadcast Systems

Congratulations to Chris S and Thomas B who won Peach City Radio 'Juicy' T-shirts in our draw! They, along with many others, completed our volunteer checklist to help us find out where people are interested in volunteering with us. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be going through those checklists and getting in touch.

Thank you to Jill Bateman at the Cannery Trade Centre for letting us hold our event there, and to Doc's Computers for the wifi access. A big thank you also goes to all of the volunteers who made the Volunteer Fair and Social a success!
