On Sunday November 22, the new CFUZ Board of Directors met at the Ramada Inn & Suites Boardroom to plot a course for what can undoubtedly be considered the most exciting year yet for Peach City Radio.
To help us along, the CFUZ Board invited CICK Station Manager Glen Ingram to the session. Glen brought a wealth of experience and wisdom from his time in working to establish and sustain CICK, Smithers BC's only community radio station.
With challenges ahead of us including the buildout, design and implementation of a new radio studio, installation of a transmission system, and establishment of volunteer and studio training routines, the year ahead promises to be full of excitement. It was very clear to the Board that we will need the help of our members and volunteers now more than ever, and we hope to encourage and support involvement at many different levels in order to make this project a reality in 2016.
Stay tuned for more information about how you can get involved in making this happen. In the meantime, please visit our supportpage and consider making a donation!
