On behalf of all the members, volunteers and friends of Peach City Radio, we'd like to express our sadness at learning of the passing of Wally Hild yesterday. Our thoughts are with his family today.

Wally was truly an inspirational person, applying his enthusiasm and energy to the many projects that occupied his time. Wally believed in the principles of community broadcasting - he was a driving force behind Peach City Radio in the early days, serving as the first Vice President of our Society for two years, and helping us to shape the organization we are today.

We'll remember Wally fondly as a founding member of our Society, a tireless volunteer, a mentor and a good friend.
